Tank & Vacuum

SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2300-GALLON VACUUM TRUCK

Model: 2300 STV

Capacity: 2300 gallons

Material: Tank is constructed of SA 36 carbon steel plate – ¼ thick

Baffles: Two (2) anti surge baffles welded in place.

Valves:

• One (1) 3" quick opening intake valve
• One (1) 6" quick opening valve located in the rear of the tank.
• One (1) automatic pressure relief valve.
• One (1) automatic vacuum relief valve.

Tank:

• One (1) top 20" manway with access ladder.
• One (1) rear 36" manway located in the lower rear head.
• One (1) 30/30 vacuum/pressure gauge.
• The ends of the tanks shall be domed.

Shut-Off System:

• Tank is equipped with a 6" stainless steel float ball which raises with the material being pumped to automatically shut off the vacuum draw when tank is full.
• Moisture Trap/Secondary Shut Off:
• A twelve-inch (12") canister is designed to centrifugally separate and trap particles in the air stream prior to entering the vacuum pump. A six (6") stainless steel float ball automatically raises to shut off vacuum draw if the canister should become filled due to a failure of the primary shut off on top of the tank.

Level Indicator:

• One (1) Site Glass
• One (1) Water Level Tube

Vacuum Pump & Drive:

• The vacuum pump is MEC 8000 air cooled rotary vacuum/pressure pump 260CFM.
• The vacuum pump is powered by the truck mounted PTO.
• All suction lines connecting the vacuum pump to the tank are a minimum of three inch (3") diameter.

Body

• The sub frame will run the full length of the tank.
• There are two (2) catwalks with continuous one piece construction. They are constructed in such a manner so as to be utilized as hose carrying racks and platform.
• Lights will be in accordance with DOT.
• Two (2) anti sail heavy-duty rubber mudguards.
• Mounting of the sub frame, fender/hose racks and bumper shall be in a manner so as to allow the entire body to be removable in one complete piece so the entire vacuum tank system could be placed on another truck chassis without disassembly if necessary.

Warranty

• One (1) full year on pump and tank.
